More Weekend Photos

Here are a few more shots from the weekend. Avery and Mom having a nice bonding moment reading a book and then fun with Grandpa and Callum when they went to feed the ducks. It was a jam packed weekend with the Retirement party, the motorcycle, the Zoo and the ducks.

The Water Park

Avery led her Dad on a merry chase around the entire park. She was not the least bit concerned whether or not Craig was anywhere near her she just ran around as happy as could be.

At the Zoo

A couple of weekends ago we took the kids to the Metro Toronto Zoo for the afternoon. They enjoyed seeing all the animals despite the heat and Avery especially loved the great water park.

Here Marg shows Avery how it is done. Avery was not the least bit scared when Marg started up the motor. Callum got to join in the action too but he was not as impressed with the motorcycle as Avery was.

Avery is a biker chick

Ever since we went to Florida in May Avery has been totally into motorcycles. My aunt Marg was cool enough to ride her motorcycle out to my parent's a couple of weeks ago so Avery could finally have the chance to sit on one. Of course within about 10 seconds she found out where the horn was and beeped it. As you can tell from the last 2 photos she also figured out where the mirror was and thought she looked pretty cool sitting on the bike.

The kids did not last too long at the party since it basically started when it was their bed time but here are a few more shots including a lovely shot of my sister and her family.

Grandpa's Retirement Party

Here she is looking very sweet and almost girly in her party dress for my dad's retirement party. She got lots of compliments and then made a fashionably early exit to go home to bed.

All I have right now

This posting is at the request of a friend of mine but unfortunately we have not been taking very many photos lately so I don't have anything special to add. Craig tried to take some Crazy Hair Day photos where he styled Avery's hair in a multiple ponytail mohawk similar to Sanjaya on American Idol. The hair turned out great but the photos are totally blurry and not worth posting.
Sorry. I am sure she will be really photogenic tomorrow...
