My best friend!!!
We finally booked a playdate with McKinley's best friend since the baby room Stathis. These two just love spending time together and had a great morning together.
Post Halloween Smiles
I never used to be much of a Halloween fan but now that we have the kids my point of view has changed entirely. It is so much fun to celebrate Halloween with them because they are so excited and they love it so much.

In the end Avery made a great recovery and had a fabulous time on Halloween. Despite the drama it is one of her favourite holidays.
Russian Snow Princess
Here is our beautiful Russian Snow Princess trying to smile through her tears. Why was she crying you ask? Well her mother insisted she wear a warm fleece under her costume to keep her warm and even though I had her put on a dark purple shirt that hid the fleece she was very upset because 'it makes my arms look fat' We almost had her stay home instead of going trick or treating. This is the 2nd year in a row that there has been lots of tears and drama. I am hoping that in the end there was a teachable moment for Avery as after 2 houses she said 'everyone loves my costume and they can't even see my fleece!"Keep your fingers crossed for us for next year.
Batman!!
Here is Muddy happy as can be in his Batman costume. He loved Halloween and was great fun to take trick or treating.
The pumpkins come home
Daddy was hard at work carving some great looking pumpkins. Avery stuck with the program longer than Muddy but in the end Craig did most of it alone.
Avery and Hadley
This is a match made in heaven. Avery takes her responsibilities as an older cousin very seriously and she she adores Hadley. She loves giving cuddles and playing with her.
The Hunt for the Perfect Pumpkin
After a wagon ride we stopped in the pumpkin patch to find some pumpkins to carve.
