Avery in Bobcaygeon

We had a lovely weekend at the Grandma and Grandpa's boat. Avery had a great time exploring the boat and swimming in the lake. She can hardly wait to go back up in September.

Small Girl in Big Girl Bed

In preparation for the arrival of Baby number 2 we moved Avery out of her crib and into a single bed. Overall it is going pretty well but we are both tired of her 5:30 am first wake up and needing to go and get her back to sleep before we wake up too much and can't get back to sleep ourselves.
She looks very little in her big bed.

Sprinklers are Fun

Here are Avery and Callum enjoying washing off the remnant of their ice cream cones in the sprinkler. We were killing ourselves laughing while we were watching. I would like to mention that the photo credits on this series go to my sister Meghan.

Avery and Megan Reunited

My friend Amy and I, who spent several days a week together during our maternity leaves, finally managed to find some time to get the girls together again. It was great fun. We had supper, went to the park, got some ice cream and then headed back home for a bath and jumping on the bed. The photos show highlights from the last 2 activities.

Stever D's Cottage

Here we are at our friend Steve's cottage up at 6 mile lake. Avery had a great time with all the other kids there and I think she was even enjoying the dog by the end of the weekend. She was pretty brave on the big water slide and was completely crazy in the water as usual. One of the highlights was when she was stripped naked after a swim and crouched down playing with something then looked over at me and said 'Poo' and then proceed to drop a couple of nuggets on the lawn. Thank god they were hard and easy to clean up. Isn't parenting glamourous?
