Our fake Disney experience

You don't have to pay an entry fee to go to Downtown Disney and fortunately our kids are too small to know what they are missing and thought it was awesome.

Our Fairytale Princess

So here she is in all the final glory. It was amazing how different she looked without her bangs. She kept the hair in overnight but had a big cry fest the next morning when 'all the sparkles were gone'. It was a major tragedy. I tried to tell her that hair and makeup are always temporary but she was not convinced.

Off to Florida for a Makeover

The only Disney thing we did in Orlando is visit the Bibbitty Bobbitty Boutique at Downtown Disney where Avery had her Fairytale Princess Makeover. She was in heaven and since they gave us the palette of makeup they used she looked beautiful for the rest of the week.
It was the gift that kept on giving.
A definite highlight of the trip.

Balls and Party

The first photo is McKinley at the pumpkin farm in the silo of balls. The next photos are from my friend Tania's baby shower where Avery got to wear her dress from Seamus and Hye Kyoung's wedding.

Pumpkin Patch Adventures

We left Baby Finley and Mommy home for some peace and quiet and headed out to this amazing pumpkin farm in Dundas. We had a fantastic afternoon.

Welcome Baby Finley!!

We are very excited by the arrival of Baby Finley Marcus Holt. He arrived very quickly at home and weighed a hefty 9 lbs 1 oz. We got to see him the next day and he was lovely. Both Avery and McKinley were very impressed.

Avery's 1st Day of School

Here are some photos of Avery's first day of 'Big Girl School'. She has started 2 full days a week at the Sitting Tree School which is a private nature school located right behind Parkwood (the hospital I work at). It has kids from JK to 8 - but only 11 of them - and they go for a walk in the woods every morning and do self directed activities in the afternoon. So far she is loving things but I will admit that some mornings she complains about the long nature walks.

Muddy's First Haircut

Although we loved his wispy baby curls, his hair was getting a bit out of control so we decided he needed a haircut. Craig was in charge and decided a mohawk was the way to go. He totally rocks the look!

Avery dress up

She can dress up for fun or for real. We went to my friend Tania's baby shower and Avery loved getting dressed up and helping Ton open her presents.
