This is how you go down a slide

If you are in the middle of a photo shoot with your mom, this is how you go down the slide and stay looking so good.

Fun in Ancaster

No matter what we always have a great time when the cousins get together. Here we are at the park in Ancaster. We enjoyed the splash pad, ate some lunch, rode our bikes and played in the playground. Fun had by all.

I can ride my bike!!

There were a few tears and the odd 'I hate this stupid bike' but in the end after some pushing from her mother and lots of practicing on the track across the street Avery has it figured out and is nice and confident on her bike. Muddy is the opposite extreme, he worked and worked on his own and figured out how to get on and off the bike on his own and how it pedal it. He can now easily ride to the ice cream store and back without any difficulty.

We Love Popsicles

Our lovely neighbour Sharon has a continuous supply of popsicles to ensure she gets to spend quality time with our two little monkeys. It is a very effective strategy as Avery and McKinley ask all the time to go over to 'see' Sharon. I am sure it is an unexpected bonus that they get a popsicle almost every single time.

Wrestling time

Somehow when Craig is involved with children it almost always ends up turning into a wrestling match where everyone piles on Craig.

And then there's Muddy

What a face. His range of facial expressions usually has me killing myself laughing and sometimes when I need to be getting him in trouble.

As you can see in the bottom 2 photos, Avery is trying to hard to follow in her mother's footsteps. She also told me this morning "I am going to be a really good Mom because I practice with my baby' (her doll) and this comment was followed by the question 'Who am I going to marry?" Not sure whether this is disturbing or hilarious. Feel free to weigh in.

Our Gorgeous Girl

When I showed Craig these photos of Avery it made him a bit nervous to have such a pretty daughter that will one day be older and interested in boys.

We also both think that in the the 2nd photo Avery looks very similar to her cousin Clare Harvey.

The fun continues

Craig was the tackling dummy as usual.

Baseball fun

The kids had a pretty intense baseball game that resulted in lots of fun and giggles. McKinley and Cameron are still working on the accuracy of their base running but they'll figure it out eventually.
